Fierce

It makes me laugh that whenever I turn my camera on my sweet, cherub-faced, huggable 8-year-old whenever he's in his football gear, he always puts on his "fierce face."

This weekend's the playoffs for his team. I hope we win! But if not, it's still been a good season. I am going to be happy to have our weekends back, though... at least until basketball season.

This photo is from the I-77 Midget League Championship Playoffs yesterday at Ripley High School field. The B-team Roane County Raiders played against the Wirt County Tigers. The Raiders held onto the lead until the 4th quarter, but unfortunately, the Tigers got lucky, and beat the Raiders 8-6. Too bad!

It was still an excellent season. The Raiders ought to be proud of themselves for remaining undefeated until the very end. Good job, boys (and coaches!)
