Congrats on the Gazette article, too! Quite a week for our favorite artist/teacher/blogger buddy.

Excellent picture (even tough I hate the smell of the fruits of those trees on Virginia Street in the fall. PU!

Stanton -- Thank you! :)

BB -- yeah, I know what you mean. All gingko trees don't produce the fruits, though. Chas messed up and bought a whole bunch of them without making sure they were teh kind with no fruits. The tree that I photographed is the one in front of First Presby. It's huge and doesn't stink. :)

Those trees smell exactly like dog poo.

I read your editorial in the Gazette too! Yay! (I read the Gazette because the Morgantown newspaper is horrible.)

Beautiful photo.

Beautiful picture. Now if I could only capture that color to paint my foyer!

BG -- Print it out and take it to Home Depot to use to match paint chips! Then go a couple shades lighter -- in a small space like a foyer, or even in bigger spaces, the color will reflect onto itself and look darker than it actually is.

Dog poo is exactly what those fruits smell like rotting on the ground.

Don't you wonder why the city's never scheduled someone to come by daily and sweep those fruits away before they rot? Those fruits are only dropping for a few weeks. It's not like it would be hard to control. And you know they know exactly what that smells like too.
