Guess what I did today? No, I didn't get a tattoo, but I designed one. A friend wanted a tattoo based on the Celtic triple spiral, or triskele. She knew what she wanted but couldn't quite put it into words, so I helped her figure it out. Off she goes this evening to get this inked. I have no idea if it's going to work as a tattoo, but there it is.
It's kind of neat thinking that something I created will be put on someone's skin for the rest of their lives. Or, at least for a really long time... but it's kind of weird, too. I hope it works out for her, because she really loves this design, and it's a perfect symbol of things that she would like to bring into her life. A good tattoo artist should be able to take this and work with it, I think, and hers is probably the best in the valley, if not the entire state.

That's freakin' awesome! I guess I know where to go if I ever need a cool tat design.
Excellent! I'm waiting on the Evil Twin to design a tattoo for me (tat #4).
