Interview, and a Photo

Duh... I never put up a link to my Interview With The Chinchilla! If you want to read it, it's here.

The photo is an experiment with selective color. This is my middle son, Joseph, who plays center on his midget league team.

Selective coloring = cool effect.

Glad to see Rebecca's not one of those moms who won't let their kids play football cause "they're gonna get hurt." Better for Joseph to take aggression out on the field rather than his siblings.

I read an article once that said something about an Australian study finding that the newer safer playgrounds are actually spurring more and worse injuries because kids are taking greater risks trying to make them fun -- climbing up to the top of them, etc...

I guess it's better to let them play sports and risk injury than to bore them to death and have them do something stupid to have fun. :)
